Our desire is to lead people to become more like Christ. We believe that as we grow to be more like Christ, we will live in a way that impacts the world around us with the gospel.
Our desire is to see believers at every stage of life growing in their faith together. We believe that God has called his people to help each other, as well as those in our community, to find and live out the true life that Jesus promised in John 10:10.
It is all about Jesus! We treasure his person, his character, and his work. We believe that we can do nothing apart from him (John 15:5). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). His is the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). In all we do, we seek to lift up and exalt Jesus!
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is through his Word that the Spirit transforms us by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). It is through his Word that we are taught, reproved, corrected, and trained (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that the presence of God in the church is directly proportional to the amount of prayer that takes place there. The early church prioritized prayer in the Book of Acts. For God to move in our lives, our church, and our community, we believe that it is going to take desperate, bold, persistent prayer lifted up with one voice (Acts 4:24).
Because of all that God has done for us - his rich mercy, abounding love, and immeasurable grace toward us - we believe he deserves our worship (Romans 12:1). Worship is an everyday life of sacrifice to serving God. This presents itself individually, as well as corporately when we come together as a church family (1 Corinthians 14).
Because we treasure Jesus, we love people. Jesus loves people - broken, selfish, sinful people. We are grateful for this because we know that we are among them (Ephesians 2)! We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).
A cheerful giver is glad to give lavishly to others, for the sake of others, and for the sake of Jesus. It's someone who will give of their time, their money, and their gifts so that others can discover the abundant life found in Jesus. Someone who will give for others as Jesus did for them.
Loving God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength (Mark 12:29-30).
Growing together to become more like Jesus (Philippians 2:5).
Serving others in the name of Jesus without expecting anything in return (Luke 6:35).
Sharing the good news of Jesus (Matthew 28:18-20).
